If you live in a major entertainment industry market like Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, London – you know there are productions going on all around you. Every day you drive by the Warner Bros. lot, or pass by 30 Rock – but even though you know things are happening, it can be tough to discern exactly what is happening.

This is where the handy SAG-AFTRA app comes in. In it the union lists all of the productions registered with them in your area, as well as when it began. You can use this information, especially in combination the ARG and CastingAbout to see what’s in production, who’s casting it, and exactly how to get in front of them.

It’s all in this week’s #GuruTip! Watch the full video below!

Did you know you’re able to see every production going on in your area? All thanks to a handy list from @SAGAFTRA. Learn how to get it and what to do with this info in this #GuruTip from @ActResourceGuru @Ajarae! #ActorsLife #InProduction #ShareClick to Tweet This Episode of #GuruTips!

Pro Tip: Once you find the show that your natural presence fits into, imagine how much easier casting’s job will be once they’ve met you! This is a great way to bump up your resume if you’re looking to get that breakthrough co-star.

If you’re not a member of SAG-AFTRA, unfortunately you own’t be able to access this resource… BUT I bet you have a union-member friend who may lend you their phone so you can do your research (you could even do it together! #MastermindGroup)

And have you joined our free Facebook community, Actors Who Get It, yet?! We’re a community of like-minded, proactive actors and we’d love to have you! PLUS you may even get a free gift when you join…
