If you haven’t yet heard of the Inside Acting Podcast, you should definitely check it out. The podcast was founded in 2009, and is committed to empowering actors to create powerful, bold, self-sustaining careers. Over two recent episodes, the hosts, Trevor Algatt and AJ Meijer, sat down with casting directors Allen Hooper (MODERN FAMILY, SUPERIOR DONUTS), Caroline Liem (PATRIARCH), and Jane Jenkins (PERCY JACKSON, LBJ, FLIPPED) to discuss some of the largely ignored aspects of the drama of casting director workshops, including the “investigation” and where to go from here.
