Making The Perfect Demo Reel (with special guests from Rapid Reelz!) | Workshop Guru
We all can agree that the popularity of demo reels is only growing. With how fast this industry moves, we have to show our skills in a quick and easy-to-share clip, which… can be pretty daunting.

That’s why this week we are so excited to be with special guests Miguel Amodio and Michael Lang from Rapid Reelz. We are in their studio talking about exactly what goes in to creating the perfect actor demo reel, which can be an incredible tool to getting yourself in front of your target casting director or signing new representation.

We go over so much information, from what kind of footage you should be using, how long it should be, common mistakes to avoid, and new things to think about when you put it together. You definitely will want to have your notepad ready! Plus- have any burning questions for our guests? Leave them in the comments below and we’ll answer!

If you haven’t heard of these guys, you definitely need to check them out (plus they even do Voiceover Demos too!)

Now it’s your turn! I want to see your demo reel. Good, old, new, whatever you have- Post a link in the comments below! #ShowMeYourReel
(Plus did we mention we give away prizes to commenters every week?!)

And be sure to share this with your friends on Twitter! #GuruTipsTuesday

Can’t wait to see your demos!
