Your Holiday Gift-Giving Guide
Happy Tuesday and happy holidays! I cannot believe it’s already December. 2019 is basically here. How?!
I’ve gotten emails from actors stressing about giving gifts to their industry community. Specifically:
WHO the heck do I give a gift do?
WHAT am I supposed to get them?!
HOW MUCH am I supposed to spend??
To help clarify the answers to these questions for everyone, I break down some examples of who you should be showing a little love and what to do if money gets a little tight.
The holiday season is here! Time to get gifts for… who exactly?!? Your agent? Manager? Casting?!? Learn who to send your industry holiday gifts to and what to do if your budget is a little tight with these #GuruTips from @ActResourceGuru @Ajarae! #ActorsLife #HolidaySeason #Share
Remember – It’s the thought that counts. Even a card makes a difference (specifically – PHYSICAL cards!) Plus – your reps know if you book jobs or not, so they don’t expect you to spend a whole lot of money on gifts if you don’t have excess cash to spend.
I hope these help clear up these questions for you. Now are you a member of ARG yet? Why not? You can join Acting Resource Guru for FREE! Thank you for this i always struggle with gifts! This year I sent candles from Strange Gent Candles. Their scents are designed to evoke particular memories of places, a sense of nostalgia (Library is my favorite). It was great because candles are simple and not overly personal, but the intention behind this particular brand communicated my depth and artistry at the same time.
