Happy Tuesday and Happy Pilot Season! One of my coaching clients has been auditioning pretty regularly, which is amazing, but she asked me, “Ajarae, I know what I should be doing before auditions… but is there anything I shouldn’t be doing?”
This made me think – we always talk about the positive, we even had a #GuruTips topic all about what to do before an audition, but we’ve never discussed the opposite! I compiled a list of everything I’ve heard my clients say they’ve done that… really messed them up when they went into the audition room. PLEASE don’t ever do any of these. EVER.

We all know what TO do before an audition, but ever thought about what NOT to do? @ActResourceGuru breaks it all down in this week’s #GuruTips! #ActorsLife #ShareClick to Tweet This Episode of #GuruTips!

I understand the struggle (well, maybe not entirely for #1…) but I know it’s all too easy to procrastinate, so it’s time to break that cycle.
Everyone promise me you’ll never do any of these things. Yes? PROMISE? OK. Good.
And remember, we have an entirely free membership of Acting Resource Guru. If you’re ready to up-level your career and join a community of actors taking back their power in this industry, click here and get yourself a free membership.
