Raise your hand if you’re an actor who’s had to face rejection… Raise your hand if you’re a person who’s had to face rejection… OK everyone better have their hands up because rejection is simply a part of life, but especially as an actor.

Honestly, actors have it pretty tough. We spend so much time in auditions, classes, meetings, to prepare yourself to work, and just a fraction of that amount of time actually working! So naturally, we’re going to have to face some rejection eventually (believe me, I know).

This is such an important topic that I just had to create a GuruTips video on this, because it’s a lesson that every actor needs to learn and understand. Learn how to face rejection the right way by clicking below!

I hoped this helped actors! Remember- it’s not the end of the world. There are a million reasons why you may not have gotten the role or why the agent passed on you, and most of them have absolutely nothing to do with your performance.

I’ve got lots of new episodes and topics coming to you in the next few weeks, so be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don’t miss out!

Pro-tip for rejection: chocolate. Also ice cream.
