Rest and Recharge | #ProductivitySeries Vol. 3 | Workshop Guru
In Part Three of our #GuruProductivity Series, we talk about one of the hardest things to do in your marketing – taking some time off!

We need time as artists (and as people!) to rest a moment, take some time to ourselves, get inspired, and recharge so that we can get better work done when we are working. Perhaps, like me, that day is Sunday, so don’t schedule anything on Sunday, and instead, go do something you enjoy, something that will give your mind a little breather! Perhaps go see that new show you’ve been meaning to see, or a museum, where you can enjoy other mediums of art, or maybe you just want to binge-watch your Netflix queue! Do whatever you need to do to get yourself mentally recharged for the week!

What’s your favorite thing to do on your day off? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. Well as I watch this video on my cell phone as I’m carrying three bags, running from appt to appt, back home and then back out again, I guess I need this reminder more than ever! So….THANK YOU! I will make it my priority this week to make time for myself to recharge!

  2. definitely making recharge time a priority – it’s key to being on top of my productivity – thanks for the great reminder!

  3. very sensible, yet true fact! Everyone does need a day off to just rest and do the things one likes to do.
I do this myself as well. Great tip for sure.
