We all wait for the day when we book a series or hit the triple-scale commercial campaign, but until then… it can be pretty tough to keep your money in order. Believe me – I know. Last week I started to share some relevant tips for actors from a book I’m loving – Money: A Love Story, by Kate Northrup.
Last week’s blog was a huge hit, and I got even more questions about money. Actors not only want to fix their relationship with their money, but also want practical tips to get the rent paid and build a better lifestyle.
And that’s where another book I’m reading comes in – MONEY: Master The Game – 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom, by Tony Robbins. Tony shares 7 simple steps to creating financial freedom that he’s learned from the most financially successful people in the world. I’m loving these tips, and I think actors should use them as well, so I’m outlining the first for you!

These books have changed my life, and I think they will help you as well. Some of my coaching clients and the Workshop Guru Get It Done group are reading them this month. Be sure to grab your copy of Money: A Love Story, by Kate Northrup and MONEY: Master The Game – 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom, by Tony Robbins. I promise you won’t regret it!
Do you have a juicy question you want me to cover in a future episode of GuruTips for Actors? I’ll be answering YOUR questions every month, so be sure to send them in to [email protected]!

Cheers to booking the series! But not financially relying on it… 🙂
