As a foodie who finds herself by the catering most of the time at events, I can’t agree more! I’ve definitely made connections there- it’s something we all share in common and can easily start a conversation about, plus who doesn’t love a girl that can eat?!

I love this video! Kym is so right. Networking connects you to people, so just relax and bring your personality to the event. Even if you are nervous, bring that too. It could turn out to CONNECT you to another person–the whole point of the event. I plan to implement the idea of simply SHOWING UP as me, no matter what. Thanks Ajarae (lovely name) and Kym!!
