Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing with you an easy way to help you figure out one of the most important things you need to know as an actor: your casting.

Also known as your “brand” or your “type”, your casting is what people see you as when you walk into the room. It can be confusing at first, but it is crucial to understand your casting, especially when you start auditioning.

As much as we would all love to play every type of role there is, it is often much easier when you’re starting out to book the “low-hanging fruit”, as in, the roles that people immediately see you as. If casting directors see you naturally as a role that could fit into their show, you have a much higher chance of booking that job.

SO. How do you figure out your casting? I’m sharing a free resource that can help you identify exactly how others see you in this week’s #GuruTips! (I even share my own experience with this, so be sure to watch until the end!)

Knowing how you come across to others is CRUCIAL as an actor, so learn how to do so with this free casting survey from @ActResourceGuru! #actorslife #workingactorsClick to Tweet This Episode of #GuruTips!

To make it even easier, I’m sharing a free casting survey that you can use to help pinpoint exactly what your casting is. I promise you, it’s easy and can totally transform how you look at yourself. I used this to get my own casting figured out and… let’s just say I was a little surprised. Click here to grab this free download!
