Happy Tuesday! How many of you have that “audition story?” That crazy thing that happened to you that totally threw you off? Maybe you arrived and discovered you were reading with a celebrity? Maybe the casting director forgot to send the updated sides? These audition curveballs happen to all of us, so today I brought in one of my good friends and the ARG Social Media Director, Evin Michaels. We’re both actors, so we often debrief about the crazy things that happen in our auditions, and this week we’re sharing them with you!

Ever been thrown off in an audition? Me too. Check out these tips from @ActResourceGuru!Click to Tweet This Episode of #GuruTips!

These stories are fun, but there’s a clear lesson throughout all of this: ROLL WITH IT!
Whatever happens, if you get told you’re now reading for the other role or everything you’re doing is completely wrong… don’t freak out, accept the note, and make the best of the situation in front of you. And don’t be afraid to ask for an extra minute to go over the new sides, or to ask for them to elaborate on the note. Remember, they want you to do well!
Now we want to hear from YOU! What are some things that have happened in your auditions? What did you end up doing? We know you have those stories, so share them with your fellow actors in the comments below!
And if you have a question that’s been on your mind, please send it in to [email protected] and I’ll answer it in a future episode of Guru Tips For Actors!
HAPPY FALL!!! 🍂🍂🍂

They are ready to make a greater impact, which looks like building communities of collaborators, creating their own opportunities, and developing residual income streams. Ajarae believes that actors play a huge role in bringing forth a reality where every being on the planet is safe and valued, and The Table empowers actors to claim their seat.
