Preparing for your Headshot Session! | Part One
“You need new headshots.” – OK, got it. So you save the money, you find the photographer, you get the session date… and… now what?
Headshots are a big investment. Not only are they expensive, but your picture is the first thing casting sees, so you want to do everything you can to make sure it’s effective.
Over the next two weeks I’ll be showing you how to do your character work before you shoot, and sharing some practical tips that you should keep in mind as you prepare. These are commonly overlooked details that you do NOT want to skip, because they WILL affect your photos.
This is not the #GuruTips to miss.
Headshots are a whole lot more than just a pretty picture!
I just did this for my recent headshot session and you will not believe how much better I felt after I knew I did my part to make these shots awesome.
Now I want to hear from you! What are some of the descriptions you came up with? Share them in the comments below!
Do you have a juicy question you want me to cover in a future episode of GuruTips for Actors? I’ll be answering YOUR questions every month, so be sure to send them in to questions@workshopguru.com!
Can’t wait to see your pictures!
