Make Your Time Your Own
We began the work of becoming an essentialist actor last week. This week I’m tackling one of the biggest struggles all of my clients have: feeling like you just don’t have enough time in the day to finish what you need to get done.
There’s a lot to do as an actor, and too often we get caught up in things that don’t matter as much as our acting careers do.
This week I’m showing you easy steps that you can take to make each hour the most productive you can make it. Remember, we all have 24 hours in a day, so how you choose to handle each hour counts!
Ever feel like you just don’t have enough hours in the day? Learn to beat it with these easy tips!
If you missed last week’s episode on how to become an essentialist actor, click here to watch.
Here’s my weekly theme schedule:
Mondays – Acting craft and professional development, like acting class.
Tuesdays – Self-care and household tasks, like getting errands done.
Wednesdays – Managing Acting Resource Guru, such as meetings with our team.
Thursdays – Working on my acting marketing, like adding footage to my reel, or getting my postcards and email newsletter designed.
Fridays – A catch-up day to work on the things I didn’t get to earlier in the week.
Saturdays – Creativity! This is when I get most of my writing done.
Sundays – Rest and relaxation and focusing on my spiritual practice… AKA my day off.
Remember, these are the themes that work for me. So what would your themes be? Share them in the comments below!
And if you’re ready to up-level your career, the time is NOW. You HAVE to check out the Get It Done Group, because registration ends in two days on THURSDAY (or when spots sell out)!
With personal coaching from me and support from other actors who ‘get it’, you’ll get clear on your goals, revitalize your focus, craft a plan to book your next big job, sign with your dream rep, get your creative projects off the ground, and make the next six months the most productive yet. If you want to get more info and reserve your spot, check out ActorsGetItDone.com! We start after Labor Day…
See you in the group!!
