My #1 Schedule Hack To Book More Work!
As actors we should be auditioning… fairly often. It’s just a part of the job. But when you get an audition, sometimes our thoughts go a little bit like, “YAY! Oh. Crap. That’s in the middle of work.”
It’s a terrible feeling that doesn’t make the audition any easier (pretty much the opposite), so I’m sharing with you my #1 hack to avoid that feeling so you can focus on ROCKING your audition and booking more work!
It’s called the *audition buffer* and I promise you, it will change your life and boost your productivity at the same time.
What is the audition buffer you ask? Watch below and find out!
And I have to add: it is RAINING y’all! We filmed this week’s video in the middle of a huge downpour, so be warned, and bring an umbrella.
My audition buffer is usually like Bryan’s and tends to be from 2-4pm or 1-3pm, but now I want to hear from YOU! Share your audition buffer time in the comments below, and remember- it doesn’t have to be (and probably won’t be) when your auditions come in, but that’s why it’s called a buffer!
Do you have a juicy question you want me to cover in an episode of GuruTips for Actors? I’ll be answering YOUR questions the last Tuesday of every month, so be sure to send them in to questions@workshopguru.com!
And they said it never rains in LA… #lies
