It’s been a rough week here in the United States where I live.
Passing the grim threshold of 100,000 COVID 19 deaths.
The weaponizing of white privilege in Central Park.
It’s a LOT to process.
I saw a Facebook post from one of my college friends today.
The post reminded me of the important role artists like you play in helping humans to have true empathy for other humans:
We need a lot of healing… as a country. As a world.
We need to be able to see beyond our own neighborhoods… and privilege… and racial backgrounds.
And you are such an important part of that, Ajarae.
So thank you for doing the work that you do as an actor.
