Congratulations to all of the casting directors nominated for the 2018 CSA Artios Award for Outstanding Achievement in Casting! Our friends at Casting About always post the most up-to-date industry announcements, especially when it comes to casting news, and they shared a handy list outlining each of the different categories and their nominees. Check that out below.
Last year, I sat down with the two founders of Casting About – Blair Hickey and Brian Wold –  and we talked about how to build and maintain relationships with casting directors. These nominations are great examples of reasons that you can reach out to the casting directors on your target list. This is the award for casting directors (#StillNoOscarCategory…) and it’s a big deal! So offer a congratulations, and REMEMBER to always come from an honest, truthful, and genuine place!
